we can help you craft a positive new future
What is a Civilised Separation?
Our Civilised Separation service is underpinned by our philosophy of compassion, child-inclusion and family repair. The support we provide is designed to help you understand how to make your new co-parenting relationship work, so you can begin to imagine an optimistic and positive future for your family.
We work with individuals, couples, children or the whole family.
You may be considering separation or have been separated for a while. Alternatively, you are navigating legal proceedings or you are struggling to adjust to life as co-parents after separation. Because we focus on improving the quality of your parenting relationship, we can support you whatever your circumstances.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Families who work with us find that they are more equipped to deal with the necessary changes that often accompany separation, saving time, money and stress by avoiding court. We guide you to make fair, practical decisions around finances and child arrangements, both feeling happy about the outcome.
You will be equipped with tools to allow you to co-parent in a way that keeps the children at the heart of all your decision making, knowing that you've done your best to ensure that your children will thrive.
why us?
Our philosophy of compassion, child-inclusion and family repair informs us how we work with you. We listen to you without judgement to help identify how your previous relationship may have broken down. With this knowledge, we can help you form a new collaborative parenting relationship, so that the whole family becomes more stable and harmonious.
We prefer to include your children's voice in the process. Bella, our trained child consultant, will work with your children to gain an understanding of their viewpoint which provides a valuable insight.
We help you to understand more about yourselves and each other, and to view separation not as an ending, but as the beginning of your family's new shape.
